It’s week four – which means we are at the halfway point in the One Room Challenge! While we have gotten a lot done, it still feels like there is a lot on the list. In the coming weeks we plan to begin the built-in wall and tackle some of the finishing work (the most important but the most time consuming).
Typically halfway through a project, I reach the burnout stage and I was definitely feeling that way before finishing this wall. Sometimes throwing some paint on the wall can help you visualize what the space will be when it’s completed. The unique burl wood pedestal stand against the dark wall trim makes my heart flutter.

This coming week we are on vacation in Wisconsin so no major progress will be happening. I hope to spend some time brainstorming and planning out the specifics of the bookcase wall so we can get down to business!
