Gifting a bottle of bubbly or wine is a perfect gift idea for many on your list! I’ve often felt that handing a host or gift recipient a plain bottle doesn’t feel like an actual gift and needs a little pizzaz.
I’ve partnered up with Taittinger to show you three easy ways you can dress up a bottle before gifting to make it feel a bit more special. Bonus: You likely already have the items you need to spruce up your bottle!

1. Add a Beautiful Ribbon and Handmade Ornament
If you’re looking for a personal way to gift your bottle, adding a handmade ornament is the perfect touch. You can customize each ornament for the person you’re gifting it to. For my custom ornament, I used air dry clay and a bit of greenery. You can follow step by step instructions below!
2. Wrap the Bottle with a Paper Fan
First cut your paper into a triangle. After your paper is cut, wrap one side around bottle and tape it.
Start folding the other free side back and forth to for form a fan. You will be attaching this in the next step.
Now that you have your fan, tape it to the bottle. You can add personal touches, like ribbon or an ornament.
About Taittinger:
Champagne Taittinger is one of the few remaining family owned and operated Champagne houses. The firm is distinguished for its extensive vineyard holdings of 712 acres, including prestigious Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions. Unlike most large houses, Champagne Taittinger relies primarily on estate grapes for its portfolio of Champagnes. Also unique are the higher proportion of Chardonnay in its wines that gives Taittinger its signature style, and the time devoted to aging the wines before release—most often greatly exceeding the legal requirement, in a practice that also has become a Taittinger hallmark.
3. Pair with Champagne Flutes
Pairing your bottle with Champagne flutes is like two gifts in one! All you’ll need for this one is a beautiful ribbon and a pair of champagne flutes. First tie the stems of your flutes close to the base – this will make it easier to attach to the neck of the bottle. Once tied, loop the ribbon around the bottle and tie a nice bow. That’s it, you bottle is elevated and ready to gift!
I can’t wait to see how you wrap your own Taittinger Champagne – Happy gifting!
